Tub Tea began with lavender, a cup of tea, and a simple idea.
More than 25 years ago, the original creator was looking for a meaningful way to share the lavender growing in her garden. As she reached for her cup of tea, the idea came to her: what if a bath could steep like tea?
That simple thought became Tub Tea.
What started as a small handmade product quickly grew into a beloved bath ritual enjoyed by customers around the world. Built on natural ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship, and beautiful presentation, Tub Tea remained a favorite for decades.
Years later, Renae discovered Tub Tea and knew it was something special. After years of searching to find the creator, she connected with her at just the right moment. When it was time for the original owner to retire, she entrusted Tub Tea to someone who would love it as much as she did.
In 2022, Tub Tea officially became part of our family.
Today, we're proud to carry on a tradition that began more than 25 years ago while introducing Tub Tea to a new generation of bath lovers.
Meet the Family Behind Tub Tea
Today, Renae and Michael run Tub Tea with help from Roger and Earleen, who sew, bag, tag, label, and help bring every product to life. Riley, our Irish Golden Doodle, supervises from a safe distance and makes sure we all stay on track.
Tub Tea has become more than a business—it's a shared family project, a labor of love, and a way for us to spend time together while creating something meaningful with a beautiful history.

We haven’t changed much from the original Tub Tea, because why change a good thing?
